1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the CleanMatch platform ("Service"), operated by Cozy Lift AS, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Description of Service
Cozy Lift AS operates CleanMatch, a platform that connects property owners who need cleaning services with cleaners who provide such services. We facilitate the connection, messaging, and payment between parties. Cozy Lift AS does not employ cleaners and is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of the services provided. We act solely as an intermediary between property owners and cleaners.
3. User Accounts
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
4. Use of Platform
For Property Owners
When posting jobs, you agree to provide accurate information about the work, location, budget, and requirements. You are responsible for evaluating cleaners and making hiring decisions. You agree to pay for completed work as agreed and to release payment once the work is satisfactorily completed.
For Cleaners
When applying for jobs, you agree to provide accurate information about your experience and availability. You are responsible for performing the work to a professional standard and in accordance with the job description. You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations in the performance of your work.
5. Payments and Fees
Cozy Lift AS charges a platform fee on transactions. Payment processing is handled through Stripe. Property owners are charged when they accept an application and release payment when the job is completed. Cleaners receive payment minus the platform fee after the property owner approves and releases the funds. All fees will be clearly displayed before you complete a transaction.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation policies depend on the timing and circumstances. If a job is cancelled before work begins, payment may be refunded in accordance with our cancellation policy. If work has been partially or fully completed, refund eligibility will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Disputes should be reported through the platform as soon as possible.
7. Liability and Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. Cozy Lift AS does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by cleaners. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service or from interactions with other users. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may close your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Cozy Lift AS operates. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.
